Colyford Common















The over-wintering Pipits at Colyford Common have been very elusive of late so I was quite pleased this morning when two of the 'Scandinavian' Rock Pipits were close enough to attempt to digiscope.
As you can see they were in summer plumage so for comparison purposes I have attached a couple of photos taken on 9th December.
Yesterday there was an adult Yellow-legged Gull on the River Axe just to the north of Coronation Corner.
