Dawlish Warren

A raft of 200+ common scoters were very active today flying back and forth.
Meanwhile the surf scoter remained off groyne 7, frequently diving.
2 slavonian grebes and 1 black necked grebe showed well in the sunshine.
Great crested grebes showed well all along the front and a pair were seen courting!
Likewise a pair of very noisy little grebes showed well on Greenland Lake.
A seal (common?) was hauled out on a sandbank.
