Cockwood and Exminster this afternoon

Pair of Goldeneye feeding with around 10 Red breasted mergansers at Cockwood - no sign of Long tailed duck.
Around 100 Black tailed godwits on flooded field on approach to Starcross.
The White fronted geese were still present at Exminster although difficult to see, to the west of the lagoon. Good numbers of teal and wigeon, 20+ shoveler and a pair of pintail. No sign of Spoonbill although it was reported as still present in the morning.
Small tortiseshell butterfly at the main car park.
