Torbay Area

Following on from a report of Waxwing in St Margaret's Avenue, 3 Waxwing were seen ealy afternoon on Westhill Road and in the grounds of Homelands Primary School.

Nearby at Preston, 5 Black-Necked Grebes, 5 Common Scoter (a flock of 4 and the usual male), the Long-Tailed Duck , 1 Purple Sandpiper on the rocks and a Brent Goose flying around. 2 Red-Necked Grebes were also reported.

At Broadsands, the Siberian Chiffchaff still present in the marsh, the Ringed Plover on the rocks and large numbers of Gannets and Razorbills were feeding offshore.
