More around North Devon

The Whooper Swan is still at Weare Giffard this afternoon - in the field below the church with 12 Canada Geese and 2 Mute Swans.

At the Skern, a few Knot with the other waders, which included a couple of Bar-tailed Godwits. Several Pintail too.

Five Spoonbill at Isley Marsh, and 2 Great-crested Grebes on the river, with several hundred Wigeon.

Fremington Pill had 2 Black-tailed Godwits with about 40 Redshank.

As Maurice has said Gadwall, Wigeon and Teal on Bradiford reserve, and most of the waders were roosting on the concrete embankment at Pottington as the tide was in when I got there.
