Exe Estuary and Exminster marshes

At 9.00 this morning a Short-eared Owl flew along the canal and this evening was quartering fields between the lagoon and canal. The American Golden Plover was on the closest end of Greenland Bank south of Turf feeding with 20 Black-tailed godwits and one Grey Plover (useful comparison). Elsewhere on the marshes the Glossy Ibis was glimpsed but not by me.
